Move #120: Arm bar
It really is no secret that I am a fan of wrestling. I have grown up with the sports entertainment. I saw the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior, The Rock and Austin, and Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho go toe to toe. I’ve also see the worst like a Kennel From Hell match, Hardcore 24/7 rules, and well…alot of stuff. But one thing I cannot get enough of is watching old wrestling videos on the youtube and new ones as well. So here I will compile five videos I enjoyed watching of wrestling.
Jericho, Master of 1,004 Holds
- I never saw this in person as a I was a WWE fan more than WCW but once I saw it a few years ago I realized how underutilizied Jericho was in WCW. The man was given squat there and you know what, he’s going to be remember for what he’s done in WWE not WCW. This and a certain amount of matches is all that people will remember of the Lionheart of WCW.
Florida Brothers of Dragon Gate
- Honestly, this style of wrestling needs to be used in American wrestling undercards as it will get the fan involved while also being an entertaning spectacle. Some may consider this a slap to the face of wrestling but I consider it just another aspect of entertainment that it can provide. Florida Brothers…FOR THE WIN!!!
Back When Cena Could Rock The Mic
- John Cena rapping was what got him over and seriously, he needs to bring it back. I understand Cena can’t go heel because of his massive merch numbers with kids but come on Cena you gotta represent the Mass. a little more like you did back in the day.
True Lucha Libre
- Obviously this isn’t the best lucha libre match ever but it has Psicosis, Rey Mysterio, Konnan(when he was decent), and LA PARKA~! Seriously, La Parka is the one of the most awesomest lucha libres out there. He looks like he can’t do anything and then he pulls out a plancha or a corkscrew. Plus he was the chairman of WCW.
Michaels v. Hart
- One of the most highly contested rivarlies of the 90s wrestling scene in and out of the ring. What’s interesting is that these two could barely get along outside of the ring but when it came to the job they did best they were the best. I am a HBK fan through and through and this was my favorite match until Jericho/HBK came along at WM19. But this still is one of the greatest matches of all time.
