It’s true. If you haven’t noticed (aka the noone that regularly visits this site) that my update about the film premiere did not premiere this weekend. I’m lazy. I can’t help it. Maybe if I was actually making money off of this. Somehow I think I am going to turn this into an actual money making blog. We will see. Soon I will do research but for now…for now…plugging of other blogs I read.

Alright quick updation here. I should have a report of my adventure to watch the first film I ever worked on (as a non-paid intern but still), Fuel. It is a documentary on biodiesel and what we can do to quicken its arrival. I’ll throw up the link to the official site here, Fuel’s Official Website.

Anyways, expect the update either Saturday Night or Sunday.

Blood Car is set in the future, two weeks into the future to be exact. Gas has reached an all time high of close to $40 a gallon and no one drives cars anymore. Archie Andrews (Mike Brune), a schoolteacher/vegan, has decided to find a way to find an alternate fuel. The day has finally come. A dawning of a new era. That era you ask? The post-Millen era. Here is a link to an official story on ESPN; LINK!!!.

But seriously, I am very elated and I hope this sparks the team just a little bit during the bye week. In the years that he was with us our record was a total 31-84. That’s ten losses worse than the other sucky teams. Hell, before he took over at team president we were actually average and barely squeaking into the playoffs every year. I thought those years were demoralizing but the Millen era has pretty much made the Lions a laughing stock.

I don’t put all of the blame on Millen though as the coaches that have come and gone have tried to establish a passing system in Detroit. Granted they figured it out kind of last year now they rely on it too much.

If you look at the stats the only two running backs to touch the ball are averaging 3.5 and 5.5 per carry. But in three games they’ve only amassed a total of 47 rushing attempts. That’s only 15 times per game. If we are the ball so well why do we continuously give it to Mr. Interception, Jon Kitna? I understand we have Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams but in order for them to get the proper looks we have to use our run game more.

Anyways, I’m done on the rant. Millen is gone. Hopefully they will put Drew Stanton in after the bye week and revitalize the team.
